According to an Apple Support document published on Thursday, the bug is affecting all of Apple’s newest devices: the iPhone 13 models, the new ninth-generation iPad, and the sixth-generation iPad mini. Users reportedly have been unable to access their music catalog and their Apple Music settings, as well as being unable to use Sync Library. Fortunately, Apple already has released a fix for it. Apple said users can fix the problem by updating their software in their general settings. The issue seems to have appeared the same week as the release of iOS 15, but it’s unclear if the system update has anything to do with the Apple Music bug. iOS 15 has a few updates of its own for Apple Music, including Shared With You integration, so you can share your music with friends through Messages and Apple Music Memories. Apple Music also got SharePlay in iOS 15, which allows users to listen to the same song in real-time with friends and family, no matter where they are. Other notable iOS 15 updates include Portrait Mode and spatial audio on FaceTime, a Shared with You folder that works across various apps, Live Text to identify specific elements in photos, an upgraded Weather app, and much more.
