How to Delete the Flipboard App From Your Device
Some mobile devices come with Flipboard as a pre-installed app. If you want to remove the app from your mobile device completely, the method may vary slightly. For both iOS and Android, you’ll need to find the app on your device, then:
On Android: Tap and hold the app until the app menu appears, then select Uninstall. You may be prompted to confirm that you really want to uninstall the app. On some devices, you may need to tap and hold the app and then drag it to the Uninstall link at the top.On iOS: Tap and hold the app until the app icon starts to shake. Then tap the X in the corner of the icon to delete the app from your device.On iPadOS: Tap and hold the app until the app menu appears, and then tap Delete App. You’ll be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the app.
How to Delete Your Flipboard Account on the Desktop Version of Flipboard
If you’re using the desktop version of Flipboard through a web browser, the steps to delete it are only slightly different than on a mobile device. You’ll still need to have your username and password to delete the account, however.
