Apple’s official announcement of the Apple Watch Series 7 detailed much of the device’s specifications, but far less about the intended release date. In fact, the official web page for the new smartwatch still says “available later this fall.” However, according to well-known Apple leaker Jon Prosser, many sources are saying the release is just around the corner. Prosser’s sources claim we could see pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 7 open next week, with shipping beginning as soon as mid-October. If this turns out to be the case, the newest Apple Watch likely would end up on consumers’ wrists before Halloween. How’s that for a treat? Prosser also stated Apple has begun notifying the press about review units, saying to look for more details “in the coming weeks.” This indicates that a release date is approaching, but still doesn’t provide a specific timeline. Regardless of whether or not the rumors are true, you’ll eventually be able to order the Apple Watch Series 7, which starts at $399. You just have to figure out if you want it in stainless steel, titanium, or aluminum colors.
