Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2x
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2x plays fine on Xbox 360, but frequent one-to-three-second pauses occur when you navigate menus. You may also encounter a rare brief pause during gameplay for a couple of seconds. The game is fun and worth picking up for your Xbox 360, especially if you aren’t satisfied with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3
THPS 3 requires that your Xbox 360 be set to 480P mode; any other resolution causes the game to freeze on the white Xbox logo. When you switch to the proper resolution, it plays perfectly and is probably the best performing of the three Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater titles on Xbox 360.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 contains some graphical glitches and occasional frame rate problems, but nothing that affects gameplay much. It is still playable.
Game Accessibility
All the games look great upscaled and smoothed out with the Xbox 360’s backward compatibility, and the Xbox 360 controller handles these games just fine. You can pick them up used for only a few dollars each online.
Other Tony Hawk Games
The two Tony Hawk’s Underground games are also backward compatible with Xbox 360. Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland is backward compatible as well. Playing the Xbox 360 version delivers a better gaming experience.
